1933=25th Anniversary Medal for General Motors

'ORIGINAL Norman Bel Geddes designed medallion commemorating General Motors' 25th anniversary 1908 - 1933.  Impressed TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF MOTOR TRANSPORTATION on the face and COMMEMORATING THE TWENTYFIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF GENERAL MOTORS on the back.  Supreme machine age art deco graphics on both sides, a must have for the serious collector.  Featured in many museums and collections. Full-size 3" diameter version, signed and dated Norman Bel Geddes. 1933 on the face and Medallic Art Co. N.Y. on the edge.  Weighs around 20 grams. Very good used condition. There is some wear and loss to the silver-washed finish, as pictured.   The base silver metal under where the wash is worn is in excellent condition, almost all the wear is in the wash.  No dents or dings anywhere.  These are often polished down to the base silver metal to make them look new or even re-plated.'
