1912 CADILLAC TORPEDO TOURING 4 Passenger MODEL 30

Specifications: 40bhp, 286.3 cu. in. inline L-head four-cylinder engine, three-speed selective sliding gear manual transmission, front and rear semi-elliptic leaf springs, and rear-wheel mechanical brakes. Wheelbase: 116"

Finished in an attractive cream color with gray accents, the rare Cadillac Torpedo offered here was acquired recently from a estate and remains in excellent overall condition. The paint displays a high quality finish and is attractively accented with a new top. Most of the nickel, including the steering column, horn, and headlights, has been polished to a high luster. The seats have been nicely upholstered in black leather and, like the nickel, appear to have been well maintained. The same overall quality is attributable to the wooden dash and floorboards, as well as the engine bay and related polished copper pieces, brackets, and accessories. In fact, the exceptional detailing is evident upon first glance and extends underneath to the cream-colored undercarriage. Additional items of note include dual side-mounted spares, a correct script Cadillac speedometer, nickel plated front bumper, dash clock, Tuto electric horn as well as a bulb horn. Expertly restored and in outstanding condition, the Cadillac Torpedo is quite simply “the car without a crank”. The car runs and drives well just completing a complete service and tune up. Enjoy this car for shows or touring.
