I have discovered a package of screws, nails and basement detritus. On the side is written "Suttle" & on the other side "302 Park Terrace."
This assures me that my house has not always had its present address.
The Carolina Room will be getting a visit from me in the next few days.
I will be attending the Progressive Dinner hosted by the Elizabeth Community as well as have had a call-back from the county historic commission. I telephoned them to say I had uncovered a few bits of Charlotte history that are incorrectly labeled and noted on the web. This we shall look into and get everything happy to what really happened, back starting in that great year of 1925.
