The last few days have been languid and slow. Summer is not oppressive yet but certainly has changed the speed of everyday events. My next-door downstairs neighbors have moved out after a few evenings of police calls, arguing and plain old scenes in the driveway including the clothes-in-the-yard incident that we all think is a myth.
