1929 Ford Model A Woody

Collectors Dream

ONLY A FEW THOUSAND EXIST IN THE WORLD, AND ONLY A FEW, IF ANY, IN THIS CONDITION.
Absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained 1929 Ford Model A Woody. This is one of the cleanest and most beautiful examples of a Model A you can get your hands on. I have invested a fortune into this vehicle, but do to moving overseas soon, I am forced to sell her. Starts EVERY time first time. Motor rebuilt with very few miles on it. Wood all band new, garaged for past 7 years in my possession. this is a real head turner where ever you go. You would think you just pulled off the Ford lot in 1929 from it's condition. Introduced in January, 1929 as part of the new Model A line (and named the Model 150-A), the first 'assembly line' station wagon sold for $695 over 80 years ago. It was still linked with Ford's commercial vehicles, but used mostly components from the automotive line. The body is made of maple with birch paneling although this particular one had the wood completely changed and re-done to new condition, originally was specified with an 8-passenger capacity. Shades of today's minivans, you could remove the 2nd and 3rd row of seats for additional cargo capacity.

4,959 of these wagons were produced in 1929. They were assembled at both Murray and at the Baker-Raulang Co. in Cleveland.
Interestingly enough, although Ford was finally producing a wagon 'in-house', various other manufacturer's were still putting wagon bodies on Ford chassis in 1929. Overall its in great condition for being over 80 years old.
