1883 Eagle Safety Bicycle

'Manufactured by The Eagle Bicycle Company in Torrington, Connecticut, Serial # 208
52" rear driving wheel with a 22" front steering wheel

The Eagle is the only high wheel safety that retained  the simple rotary crank of the large driving wheel.

The bicycle has the correct  seat, brakes and name plate. The pedals are incorrect, but work just fine. Both wheels spin true, no spokes missing in either wheel
Fresh out of the barn & is it is the first time this bike has seen the light of day in over 25 years. Can be ridden as is but has older tires that need to be replaced.'
